Never worry about camping in the rain. Configure the kit to your tent one time, and whenever you camp you can quickly setup your rainfly before your inner tent or footprint.

Click on the video in the photo gallery to see how it works.

  • Fits any standard tent with 3 or 4 pole ends, with adjustable grommet corners to connect to your poles. Corner pieces are made from durable nylon strap with heavy duty outdoor thread.
  • 325 paracord means the kit frame can withstand up to 325 pounds of force, and reflective paracord corners help you to stake down the kit in the dark.
  • Custom-designed spool keeps cords from tangling. Spool is circular shaped to fit neatly into the end of your existing tent bag, for easy access at the campsite.
  • Total weight is 4.2 ounces: perfect for backpacking when every ounce counts!
  • Cord has a double function: It can be used to hang laundry or other items.
  • Includes a reusable tie that can be used to reinforce the poles during setup, and is helpful to have for various purposes while camping.

What's Included

  1. 40 feet of 325 Paracord with cord tensioners and 4 nylon corner pieces to hold poles and rainfly
  2. Paracord spool with velcro tie and tie for your gear
  3. Lightweight storage bag

Saved the trip!

This kit saved our trip! We kept our tent dry as we set it up in a storm. I was so worried my boyfriend would hate backpacking, but he's excited to plan our next trip. Thank you, Hero Hiker!

A life-saver

The kit was way lighter than I expected, so it didn't make any real difference in my total weight, and it was nice piece of mind to have it along. I only needed it for one night when it was raining hard enough, but actually I kind of like setting up my tent this way. It's nice to get out of the sun after a long day of hiking and just get some shelter up right away.
